Session Description
Corporates have a powerful position in solving some of society’s most pressing challenges given their knowledge and resources. Companies are realizing that it is important to integrate their societal agenda throughout the entire organization via employee engagement, senior management buy-in, usage of companies’ resources for social good and even considering the base of the pyramid as a business segment. Being recognized as a force for social good helps corporates to be recognized as leading organizations, retain talent and increase their bottom line. A number of large American and European corporates have advanced in this journey. How do we get more Asian corporates engaged in this movement? What are some of the challenges and how do we surpass them?
Key Takeaways:
- Corporates can be a great force of good. We need more case studies of Asian corporates being actively engaged towards social impact.
- Inspire corporates to be more strategic and move along this journey by providing some inspirational cases.
- Discuss the challenges of pushing this internally and provide first hand advice on how to succeed.
