Torplus’s passion in corruption studies started when he was doing his graduation project on Policy Corruption in Thailand at the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University. He then continued for his Master and Doctorate Degree in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge, UK, working on a similar issue of corruption in Thailand and why its anti-corruption reforms have been unable to yield significant positive result.
His strong commitment to strategically fight corruption in Thailand has led him to several other friends who share the same ideology and passion in the issue. Together, they found HAND Social Enterprise to provide consultancy service on good governance to public and private organizations, management service to various anti-corruption related projects, and anti-corruption innovation development based on academic findings. Their goal is to create a corruptless society at hand.
Apart from his contribution at HAND Social Enterprise, Torplus is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University and a committee member of the Thai Public Broadcasting Service Foundation.
