Harvey Koh is a Managing Director at FSG where he co-leads the Inclusive Markets approach area.
Based in Mumbai, he works to develop and scale business models that benefit the poor, spanning a range of sectors including housing, water and healthcare. He also leads projects on developing and enhancing the impact investing market ecosystem in order to spur greater deal flow, performance and impact.
Harvey has also authored key reports including From Blueprint to Scale, which introduced the notion of the ‘pioneer gap’ in impact investing, and Beyond the Pioneer, which makes the case for the practice of ‘industry facilitation’ to help new models overcome barriers to scale.
Until 2011, Harvey was the founding Head of Investment & Performance at Private Equity Foundation (now Impetus-PEF), a venture philanthropy fund established in London by leading U.S. and European private equity firms.
Harvey was born and raised in Malaysia.
